Topics for the first term will include:
· Forcing bids including 4th suit forcing and reversing
· The losing trick count and hand evaluation
· Red suit transfers and competition to an opening 1NT eg using Landy and exit transfers
· Weak two and three bids and how to respond with a strong hand
· Improving play and defence.
It is suitable for people who have completed a beginners bridge course or regular club players who wish to review, improve and extend their bridge play.
