2022 is our 150th Anniversary Year
We will be celebrating 150 years since our foundation in Lymington as The Lymington Club (before the game of bridge and before women were even allowed!)
Watch out for news of the events planned for this year including publication of a booklet about the Club's history and a celebratory lunch in November.
Go to the 150th Anniversary page for the latest information
LESSONS FOR BEGINNERS STARTING ON THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 8th
Teachers are EBU accredited
Cost £95 per term
GO TO THE 150th ANNIVERSARY PAGE TO DOWNLOAD THE BOOKING FORM WHICH HAS MORE DETAILS OF THE COURSE
The Club is now offering face-to-face bridge sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
You must be fully jabbed to attend our bridge sessions.
Have a look at our 150th anniversary commemorative items too to buy or order.
Dont forget we are now a cashless Club. Please make sure you have topped up your account to cover table money which is back to £2.50 (£4 for visitors).
Lymington Bridge Club will again run a heat of the EBU Handicap Pairs on RealBridge.
Please assemble for a 1.45 pm start. You will play around 30 boards (with a tea break!). Results will be handicapped nationally, using your NGS rating, so this is a good chance to compete on a level playing field.
The Lymington heat is open to Club members and visitors - to register, and get more details, please click here
Now Fully Booked!
19 September 2022 @ 1.30(1.45 start)
No partner needed – you will play one board with one partner and then move to the next table and a new partner!
Numbers will be limited so please let Pat M-Elliott know if you’d like to come along text 07929191924 or patriciamaycock@btinternet.com
Members can enjoy a delicious 2 course lunch of various salads and bread, Coronation Chicken or cooked ham or quiche followed by a dessert of Pavlova or cheescake or Summer Pudding on Wednesday 24th August. Bridge will commence about 1.45 pm after the meal has finished. All proceeds to Oakhaven Hospice. Price includes bridge and a glass of Pimms on arrival at 12 noon. £20.
You will need to book a place here. 40 members maximum.

The Lymington Club Ltd (often referred to as The Yellow Door) has its own premises in a listed building on St Thomas' Street, at the top of this busy market town next to Marks and Spencer. We have a lovely bright card room and newly refurbished entrance and kitchen area. We are a friendly club whose members meet up to five times a week for Duplicate Bridge. We have several social and charity bridge occasions during the year as well where our Social Committee always provide delicious homemade fare.
The Club has some parking available next door, and there is a large Council owned car park within 100 metres down the adjacent side road. We run several competitions throughout the year and are affiliated to the EBU and to HIWCBA.
